Virginia Beach Condo Rentals In One Of The Top Beaches

One of the great things about renting a condo in Virginia Beach, is the beach itself. It was recently listed as one of the top ten in the United States by Trip Advisor. Here’s the article: Virginia Beach made the list of the 10 best beaches for families for 2015, released by Family Vacation Critic on Wednesday. “When choosing the top family-friendly beaches, we consider a number of factors — it’s not just beautiful sands and picturesque views,” said Lissa Poirot, editor-in-chief of Family Vacation Critic, a TripAdvisor site. The editors of the site pick the beaches on the list. “Beyond clean, safe beaches, we’re looking for beaches that offer a well-rounded experience for families — accommodations, dining and entertainment within close distance of the beach, and plenty to keep the whole family entertained while in town,” Poirot said in a statement. Check out the 10 best U.S. beaches, listed here in alphabetical order by beach name. Great Restaurants

If you are renting a condo in Virginia Beach like those living in Jacobs Landing or Zachary Place, then you know there is always something going on and sometimes it involves food. Not everyone is a lover of “She crab Soup” but the residents in Virginia Beach had a great time recently as this article from the Pilot highlighted.   Every year, after turning in my judge’s scores at the close of the East Coast She Crab Soup Classic, I get to thinking. She crab soup is a lot like siblings. Kinda similar, kinda not. The 2015 competition takes place this Saturday, April 11, at the Virginia Beach Oceanfront from noon to 3 p.m. If you want to go, get tickets now. It’s a guaranteed sell-out event. Here’s how it works: Crews from a score of area restaurants set up tents and steaming urns of she crab soup at the 24th Street Park. Guests sample them all. There's usually plenty of tunes and sunshine, too. In prior years, there were thin soups and soups you could stand a spoon in. There were soups flecked with carrots and soups with ribbons of onion. Some soups come served with a crab claw garnish; one came with a sweet potato biscuit. Some were hot, some were not. This is serious competition, people. For more information, go here. See you there! Mannino’s Italian Bistro has been the team to beat in past years. As a judge, I can attest to the fact that not a single chef around here is conceding the title and the competition remains fierce.   ■ 10 April 2015 | 8:17 AM Slurp some she crab soup on Saturday …via Slurp some she crab soup on Saturday – The Virginian-Pilot

Virginia Beach Condos For Rent – Safe Moving Tips

Post Image

As the beach season approaches, it is a great time of year for new arrivals to move into the city of Virginia Beach. The BBB recently issued some great tips to help make your move into your virginia beach condos rental a breeze. Last year, BBB saw more than 63,200 inquiries from consumers looking to hire a mover and received 141 complaints from customers. Common complaints included damaged or missing items, bills that were higher than estimated, late deliveries and in some cases, goods being held hostage for additional payments. “Moving can be difficult even in the best of times,” said Paula Fleming, vice president of the local BBB. “But if you check with BBB before hiring, contact references and understand your contract with the moving business, there should be few, if any, surprises.” An interstate household mover should be licensed with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (www.protectyourmove.gov). Movers who operate within a single state are regulated by that state’s government. In Massachusetts, movers must be licensed by the Massachusetts Department of Public Utilities (MDPU). Red flags to watch for when hiring movers: Movers who don’t make an on-site inspection of your household goods and give an estimate over the phone or by email. Such estimates often sound—and are—too good to be true. Movers who demand cash or a large deposit before the move. Movers who don’t provide you with a copy of “Your Rights and Responsibilities When You Move,” a booklet that movers are required to supply to customers planning interstate moves. Business websites that have no address and no information about a mover’s registration or insurance. Movers who claim all items are covered by their insurance. Telephone calls answered with a generic “movers” or “moving company” rather than a business name. Offices or warehouses that are in poor condition or don’t exist. On moving day, a rental truck arrives rather than a business-owned or marked fleet truck.   BBB offers consumers the following tips on hiring a mover: Check the mover’s complaint history. BBB Business Reviews include complaint history, Customer Reviews, and more information about the business. …via BBB Offers Tips as Moving Season Approaches – Better Business Bureau Following these tips will help you have a safe move into your Virginia Beach condo.
